My mom loved it! Super thoughtful and awesome gift. I would recommend especially to a parent. We seldom ask questions of our parents lives before they had children and forget they were people before children. As a mom, I try to have intentional time with my children and tell them about my life as an individual. This book just reinforces those things as something your children can keep.

I got this to be a fun summer writing project for my daughter. We are one entry in, and already she has written something that brought me such joy. The first question is, "What is your favorite memory of me?" One of her responses was, "My favorite memory of you is going on the fishing trip because you didn't want to hold the fish, but you still held the fish." I am a vegetarian, so it grossed me out to hold a 20 pound fish, lol. I never would've known this was a favorite memory of hers. I can tell that this book will give me an insight to how she views the world.
